Between taking care of the kids and house and working a full-time job, my time is minimal, so I take any chance I get to wet a line and throw these guidelines out of the way on my to the dock. This is because Trout do not have eyelids, so they seek shaded areas away from direct sunlight during the day. Knowing this, many anglers even go trout fishing at night.
That said, the worst time of day to fish for Trout is in the middle of the day when the sun is beaming through most of the water. This is the time that Trout seek cover and are least active. If you find yourself casting for Trout around lunchtime, seek heavily shaded areas with thick vegetation in the water.
