Top Ice Fishing Gloves
1. Electric Heated Gloves (Heated Option)

When extreme cold demands extra warmth, these heated gloves are a lifesaver. The rechargeable battery-powered heating system ensures warmth even in the harshest conditions. They’re perfect for long sessions on the ice, especially when you’re sitting still waiting for the fish to bite.
2. Kinco 901 Leather Gloves (My Top Pick)

These are the gloves I use for most ice fishing trips. They’re incredibly warm and windproof, making them ideal for drilling holes or handling equipment. While they’re not dexterous enough for tying knots, they excel at keeping your hands comfortable and protected.
3. MCTi Snowmobile Gloves (Multi-Purpose Option!)
- Price: ~$40
- Cold Rating: Moderate cold resistance
- Features: Waterproof, lightweight insulation, excellent grip
These gloves are versatile, making them perfect for setting up your ice fishing shack or riding a snowmobile to your spot. While they offer decent warmth, you might need to remove them for tasks requiring fine dexterity, like tying a knot or handling small lures.
4. KastKing Mountain Mist Gloves (Lightweight and Functional Option)
- Price: ~$30
- Cold Rating: Light to moderate cold resistance
- Features: Water-resistant, neoprene construction, touchscreen-compatible
These gloves prioritize functionality over warmth. They’re excellent for tasks requiring precision, such as tying lines or adjusting gear, but are better suited for mild winter days. Their slim design offers great grip and dexterity, making them a solid choice for light-duty ice fishing.
Ice Fishing Gloves: Final Thoughts
For me I have no problem taking my gloves off to handle a fish, take a quick picture, and get them back in the water, so overall I would choose the leather choppers.
But for those who don’t want to throw your gloves on the ice and hassle with them all the time, one of the fingered options might be more of your cup of tea!
Overall, ice fishing is always worth spending a bit of money on your comfort because if you’re cold, you’re not going to want to go out in the elements! No matter which you choose, a day on the ice always beats a day at work!
